Comprehensive search tip
Google Earth Integrates into Google Maps and display a large variety of location data. To do that you need to Double-click on a business listing and Google Earth will fly you down to the location and pop up a balloon window view with information about the business.
You can do several things at this point.
- View street address including phone number of a business.
- Get driving directions To or From the location.
- Link to detailed information about a business in Google Maps.
You can also get driving directions by clicking on the Directions Tab. Enter the "from here" and "to here" info. After you do that click the play button and FLY YOUR ROUTE! How cool is that?
You can also calculate the distance between points by clicking on the "Measure" Tool

Working With Layers
When checking out a location, you can turn on various layers of mapping information such as roads, dining, parks, and lodging. .
For example click on the "Golf" layer as illustrated and you'll see the outline of a golf course pinned with a custom icon in your view. If you click on the icon, you do a Google search for more information about that course.
